2000

Araneum merges with Netbureauet to create the largest Danish owned web-based consultancy with more than 110 employees. I liason the Netbureauet Araneum acquirement of Tripledash Ltd (broadband content) in the UK, giving access to clients such as MTV Europe. Araneum Consulting is established, based on management consultants from AT Kearney and Accenture, offering management consulting and related business services. Esther Dyson joins as investor and member of the advisory board.

2000-2004

In 2002 TietoEnator Consulting acquires Araneum A/S. TietoEnator is a Nordic IT services company, employing close to 14000 people.

Projects undertaken in Araneum/TietoEnator:

  • Conceiving and directing the development of Epta, a business process-centric pipelined web services platform.
  • Conceiving and directing Araneum Sitemanager, a very succesful Content Management System (CMS) application, built on the Epta platform. The CMS is in use at e.g. Novo Nordisk (140 instances world-wide), DR, LO, ISS and various govermental institutions. The CMS becomes THE strategic product of the agency, generating more than 50% of the revenue
  • Focusing the company on a n-tiered Microsoft .Net based technical strategy, developing best practices and methodology consensus.
  • System architecture and planning of incoming projects. Information architecture and database modeling.
  • Sales engineering and pitching. Sales material and presentations.
  • Business strategy
